During our recent trip walking the Alpenpanoramaweg, we found ourselves at a charming family-run hotel on the outskirts of Aarau. Coming from a challenging trek from Schwarzsee, we were grateful for the clean and comfortable room that awaited us. Only a short drive from the town center and ideal for exploring nearby Zurich, Bern, and Lucerne, the location could not have been more convenient. The hotel offered a delightful breakfast that nicely prepared us for the day ahead. After spending the afternoon recovering from our walk, we chose to stay for dinner. The menu featured a good variety of options that appealed to both kids and adults, ensuring everyone found something they liked. The staff were accommodating and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. With a shuttle service available for the fairgrounds in Basel, this hotel seems like a practical choice for both families and business travelers. For anyone traversing this beautiful region, it could certainly be worth considering a stop here.
